A former defense tower and part of the old city wall, Škrlovec Tower has become a vibrant cultural centre after the renovations in 2011. There is an intimate venue on the bottom floor, where Prešeren Theatre Kranj stages smaller productions with innovative settings and Layer House hosts concerts and other cultural and educational evenings.

The team behind Layer House is a collective of passionate individuals who create and organize cultural events in the city. They actively collaborate with other cultural institutions in Kranj and build networks across Slovenia and internationally. As in previous years, Layer House will serve as a central gathering point for Krafft guests and the venue for the beloved Dinot’s Pub Quiz. It will also host the festival’s closing celebration.
